What actually happens during conversion
Each image becomes one page in the output PDF, in the order you added them — the images themselves aren't altered, just embedded into PDF page containers sized to fit. Reordering before conversion matters since the PDF's page order is locked in at export; fixing page order afterward means using a page-reordering tool on the finished PDF instead.
When this is the right tool vs. a scanning app
Genuinely useful for combining existing photos or screenshots (receipts, whiteboard photos, a signed document photographed page by page) into one shareable PDF. It won't do what a dedicated scanning app does — automatic edge detection, perspective correction, or contrast enhancement for legibility — it embeds the images exactly as provided.
Can I reorder images after adding them, before converting?
Yes — drag to reorder the file list before clicking convert; page order in the final PDF matches whatever order the images are in when you convert. Reordering after the fact requires a separate page-reorganizing step on the resulting PDF.
Will this crop or straighten photos of documents automatically?
No — images are embedded exactly as provided, with no automatic edge detection, cropping, or perspective correction. If a photo is crooked or needs cropping, do that first (in Image Workshop's crop tool, for example) before converting to PDF.
What image formats can I use as input?
Standard web image formats — JPEG, PNG, WebP, and similar are supported. Each becomes one full-page image embedded in the corresponding PDF page.
